mmm.... yeah...

The good thing about being a Malaysian is that we our stomachs are blessed to have various food from different ethic and races...

There are just so much Malaysian food that I miss since i've been here...

SATAY
Sticks of meat on skews grilled with coals serve with peanut sauce and onion

BAK KUT TEH
Soup of Pork cooked in herbs with bean curd

PENANG LAKSA
This noodle is cooked in a think fish paste served with slices of pineapple, mint and cucumber + prawn paste... It is slightly sourish spicy, and Penang is well known for this noodle..

ROTI CANAI
I personally think that its an Indian food, but some mamak make the best Roti Canai I've ever had... Its basically flour and ghee made into a dough and beaten/ thrown/ toss.. the pan fried dough is then served with a thick curry of your choice.

NASI LEMAK
The rice is cooked with coconut milk and ginger, and commonly served with anchovies, sambal (chilli paste) with cucumber.. and guess what, I MADE THE NASI LEMAK IN THE PICTURE!

Have a trip to Malacca, then you find more variety of foods, Chinese (satau Celup, Chicken Rice Balls, Yong Tau Fu etc), Malay (Ikan Bakar, go to umbai; Asam Ikan etc), Portugese food, Indian etc, worth you going the trip!
